Job Description:

RCH Solutions is 
seeking a highly organized and proactive Tech Ops Project Coordinator to join our IT and Technical Operations team. In this role, you will play a critical part in coordinating and supporting the delivery of IT and Tech Ops projects across pharmaceutical operations. You will act as a key liaison between scientific end users, internal IT teams, external vendors, and the Desktop Support team to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with stakeholder expectations. This position requires strong time management, project coordination skills, and familiarity with Windows 11 environments to support scientific workflows and laboratory systems.


Role and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and support the delivery of IT and Tech Ops projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and meet stakeholder requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between scientific end users (e.g., process development, QC, manufacturing science), internal IT teams, and external vendors to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Collaborate closely with the Desktop Support team to ensure effective communication, issue resolution, and coordination for hardware/software needs related to scientific workflows.
  • Assist in managing vendor relationships, tracking deliverables, and escalating issues to keep system implementations and upgrades on schedule, in partnership with the IT Solutions Lead.
  • Support the IT Solutions Lead by maintaining project documentation, following up on tasks, and driving progress on cross-functional initiatives.
  • Translate scientific and technical requirements into structured project plans and clearly defined deliverables for IT and business stakeholders.
  • Oversee issues, tickets, and service requests managed by the Desktop Support team, with a focus on Windows-based environments and laboratory systems.
  • Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements to enhance project coordination and service delivery.
Qualifications:
  • Proven time management and project coordination skills, with experience in a project management or liaison role.
  • Familiarity with Windows 11 and experience supporting Windows-based environments, preferably in a scientific or laboratory setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with scientific end users, IT teams, and external vendors.
  • Ability to translate technical and scientific requirements into actionable project plans and deliverables.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing vendor relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Familiarity with IT service management processes, including issue tracking and resolution.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or scientific operations is preferred but not required.
Education:
  • B.S. in Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent degree plus experience
